Simple & Retro Win Big for Target

When Target asked Nabisco for an exclusive cookie/cracker combo program, Oreo and Ritz seemed like a match made in snacking heaven.
To meet this tall order, BAKER designed packaging that felt at once nostalgic and contemporary, and visually linked the two brands.
Stripped to their brand essence, these “in and out” packages created much internet blog chatter and sold through in a matter of weeks. Once again, Target shoppers show their good taste!
These packages were the winners in the 2010 American Package Design Award competition presented by the prestigious Print magazine. Winners can be seen in the December 2010 issue.
